মন্দিরটি পশ্চিমে, এবং মূল প্রবেশদ্বারটিও পশ্চিম দিকে, যদিও উত্তর প্রবেশদ্বারটি ছোট। তবে মধ্যযুগীয় বাংলার "স্কোর্চ চালা" (৪টি তির্যক ছাদ) অভয়ারণ্যের নকশার প্রভাব স্পষ্টতই লক্ষণীয়, এই ধরনের মিশ্রণ এই স্থানটির জন্য আকর্ষণীয় এবং ত্রিপুরা নিঃসন্দেহে নিজস্ব বিল্ডিং শৈলীর মতো এটির নিশ্চয়তা দিতে পারে। অভয়ারণ্যটি একটি শঙ্কু আকৃতির খিলান সহ সাধারণ বাঙালি কুটির ধরনের কাঠামোর একটি বর্গাকার সাজানোর গর্ভগৃহ নিয়ে গঠিত। এই ঐতিহ্যের স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ, ত্রিপুরেশ্বরী মন্দির সমন্বিত একটি ডাকটিকিট 2003 সালের সেপ্টেম্বরে প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। মন্দিরের পূর্ব দিকে কল্যাণ সাগর একটি হ্রদ, যেখানে কচ্ছপ এবং খুব বড় মাছ শান্তিতে বাস করে। মন্দিরটি উদয়পুর শহর থেকে প্রায় তিন কিলোমিটার দক্ষিণে অবস্থিত। ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরীর মন্দির বা মাতাবাড়ি এর সাধারণ নাম।

মন্দিরের ইতিহাস :

1501 সালে, মহারাজা ধান্য মাণিক্য ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরী মন্দির প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। যদিও এটি বিশ্বাস করা হয় যে, তিনি আসলে ভগবান বিষ্ণুর জন্য মন্দিরটি তৈরি করেছিলেন, পরে তিনি স্বপ্নে একটি আপ্তবাক্য পেয়ে বাংলাদেশের চট্টগ্রাম থেকে কস্টি পাথরের তৈরি মা ত্রিপুরাসুন্দরীর একটি মূর্তি স্থাপন করেছিলেন। কারো কারো মতে এটি 51টি শক্তিপীঠের মধ্যে একটি। পীঠস্থান হল সেই স্থান যেখানে দেবী সতীর দেহের অংশ পতিত হয়েছে, হিন্দু পুরাণ অনুসারে। "পিঠমালা গ্রন্থ" অনুসারে, ভগবান শিবের তান্ডব নৃত্যের সময় সতীর ডান পা এখানে পড়েছিল। এই বিপুল সংখ্যক তথ্য অভয়ারণ্যের রচনা থেকে একত্রিত করা হয়েছে। যাই হোক না কেন, এই মূল অনুলিপিগুলি সর্বদা নিষ্পত্তি করা হয়েছে।

দেবী ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরীর দেবতা কস্টি পাথরের তৈরি যা গোলাপী কালো রঙের। প্রতিমাটি 1.57 মিটার লম্বা। একটি পাথরের প্ল্যাটফর্মে ইনস্টল করা হয়েছে, এটি দৈর্ঘ্য এবং প্রস্থে 1.64 মিটার। দেবী ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরী ভগবান শিবের বুকে দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন এবং তাকে সোনার মুকুট পরানো হয়েছে এবং একটি গ্রিডলক রয়েছে। তার চারটি হাত, একটি মুখ যা একটু লম্বা, এবং অপেক্ষাকৃত ছোট চোখ।

ত্রিপুরার স্বতন্ত্র স্থাপত্য ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরী মন্দির নির্মাণে ব্যবহৃত হয়। মন্দিরটির উচ্চতা 75 ফুট এবং চার কোণে চারটি বিশাল স্তম্ভ দ্বারা বেষ্টিত। মূল নির্মাণে বৌদ্ধ স্থাপত্য ব্যবহার করা হয়। অভয়ারণ্যের সর্বোচ্চ স্থানে একটি ব্যানার ধরে সাতটি কলস/ঘট স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। মন্দিরের স্থাপত্য দেশের বৈচিত্র্যময় সংস্কৃতি এবং ঐতিহ্যের মিশ্রণ। বর্তমান অভয়ারণ্যটি মহারাজা রাধাকিশোর মাণিক্য বাহাদুরের আমলে নির্মিত

এটা সাধারণ জ্ঞান যে বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতি এবং ধর্মের সদস্যরা মন্দিরে জমায়েত হয়। যে কোনও ধর্মের যে কেউ শ্রী শ্রী মাতা ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরীর পূজা করতে পারে এই মন্দিরের একটি স্বতন্ত্র বৈশিষ্ট্য। উদয়পুর আঠারো শতকের মাঝামাঝি সামসের গাজী আক্রমণ করে নিয়ে যায়। সমসের গাজীর জীবনী "গাজিনামা" অনুসারে, গাজী দেবী ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরীর পূজা করেছিলেন। বিভিন্ন ধর্ম, সংস্কৃতি এবং পোর্টফোলিওর লোকেরাও মন্দির পরিচালনা কমিটি গঠন করে।

এমনকি উদয়পুরের মুসলমানরাও তাদের প্রথম ফসল ও দুধ দেবী ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরীকে উৎসর্গ করার রীতি পালন করে। দেবী ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরী ত্রিপুরার পূর্বপুরুষদের মধ্যেও সুপরিচিত। মন্দিরটি দিনে দুবার পূজা দেয় এবং একটি কুপন অন্নভোগ প্রসাদ আগে থেকে সংরক্ষণ করতে ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে। প্রতিদিন সকালে ও রাতে আরতি পরিবেশন করা হয়। প্রথা অনুসারে দশমী তিথি বাদ দিয়ে প্রতিদিন তপস্যা করা হয়।

ত্রিপুরা রাজ্য সরকার বর্তমানে ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরী মন্দিরের তত্ত্বাবধান করে। ত্রিপুরা একীভূতকরণ চুক্তির শর্তাবলী অনুসারে। মন্দিরে "সেভাইত"-এর পদটি গোমতি জেলার জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট এবং কালেক্টর দ্বারা অধিষ্ঠিত, যিনি সভাপতির দায়িত্বও পালন করেন। মন্দিরের সম্পূর্ণ ব্যবস্থাপনা সদস্য-সচিব, ডিএম এবং কালেক্টর, গোমতী জেলার হাতে।

ত্রিপুরেশ্বরী মন্দির এবং আশেপাশের এলাকা ভবিষ্যতে সরকার দ্বারা উন্নত করা হবে। ত্রিপুরায় "মাতা ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরী মন্দির ট্রাস্ট" প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ত্রিপুরার মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ট্রাস্টের চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে কাজ করেন।

মন্দিরের গঠনশৈলী :

মন্দিরটি একটি ছোট, বর্গাকার কাঠামো যার একটি বর্গাকার জাতের গর্ভগৃহ এবং একটি সাধারণ বাঙালি কুঁড়েঘরের অনুরূপ একটি শঙ্কুযুক্ত গম্বুজ। এর ভিত্তি মাত্র 24 বর্গফুট বা 7 বর্গ মিটার এবং এর উচ্চতা প্রায় 75 ফুট বা 24 মিটার। এমনও বিশ্বাস করা হয় যে শিবের নৃত্যের সময় সতীর ডান পা এখানে পড়েছিল। মন্দিরের ছাদটি কচ্ছপের পিঠের কুঁজের মতো আকৃতির, এটিকে কচ্ছপের কাঠামো দেয়। সুতরাং, উপাসনার স্থানকে অন্যথায় "কুরমা পীঠ" (কুর্মা অর্থ কচ্ছপ) বলা হয়। অ্যাপ্রোচ রোডের ধারে, অন্যান্য সাধারণ হিন্দু উপাসনালয়ের মতো, স্টলগুলিতে ফুল এবং ঝুড়ি বিক্রি হয় যা দর্শনার্থীরা ত্রিপুরা সুন্দরীকে অফার করতে নিতে পারে এবং প্রসাদম হিসাবে ফিরে আসে। বাদামী, মিষ্টি পেদাস, যা ভক্তরা বন্ধুবান্ধব এবং পরিবারের সাথে ভাগ করার জন্য মন্দির থেকে ফিরিয়ে আনে, এখানে বিশেষভাবে জনপ্রিয়। নৈবেদ্য হিসাবে, লাল জবা ফুলটিও মূল্যবান।

মন্দিরের পূর্ব দিকে "কল্যাণসাগর" নামে একটি বড় হ্রদ রয়েছে। হ্রদটি মহারাজা কল্যাণ মাণিক্যের সময়কালের (1625-1660 খ্রি.)। এই বিশাল জলরাশি, যা 6.4 একর জুড়ে বিস্তৃত এবং এর দৈর্ঘ্য 224 গজ এবং প্রস্থ 160 গজ, মন্দির চত্বরে দুর্দান্ত সৌন্দর্যের একটি মাত্রা যোগ করে, যার পটভূমিতে মনোরম পাহাড়গুলি উঠছে। কচ্ছপ, মাছ এবং অন্যান্য জলজ প্রজাতি জলে প্রচুর পরিমানে থাকেহ্রদের ভক্তরা সেখানে বসবাসকারী কচ্ছপ এবং মাছের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানায়।

গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানোর রুট:

নিকটতম বিমানবন্দর হল আগরতলা বিমানবন্দর। বিমানবন্দর থেকে মন্দিরের দূরত্ব 70 কিমি। বিমানবন্দর থেকে আপনি বাস বা অন্যান্য যানবাহন চেষ্টা করতে পারেন  মাতাবাড়ী রেলস্টেশন নিকটতম রেলওয়ে স্টেশন। স্টেশন থেকে গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানোর জন্য সব ধরনের যানবাহন পাওয়া যায়।
